IRLA - The London Market Introduction

OVERVIEW
This session is aimed at those working in European markets who wish to gain an understanding of how the London Market operates in respect of legacy books. The content is designed to be of value to those wanting to learn how those in the London Markets buy or sell portfolios or find finality through other solutions.
There will be a tour of Lloyd's on 08 July at 14:00 - 16:00 and is followed by the IRLA Summer Party for all delegates registered for this event.
Delegates will:
- Gain a broad understanding on how the London Market operates.
- Explore the regulatory framework applying to such transactions.
- Consider the buyer / seller expectations.
- How legacy business is transacted and the differing methods of transfer.
The training event will contain relevant care studies and opportunity for discussion for delegates to test their understanding. Through interaction with experienced senior speakers drawn from the industry, it will provide insight and valuable perspectives to the area.
